This policy explains how the Rabbitry web app (web.ourrabbitry.com), the Rabbitry apps for Android and iOS and ourrabbitry.com handle personal data. The data controller is Muhammad Hassan, sole trader, Finland. Contact: info@ourrabbitry.com.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and sign-in provider (Google, Apple or email) through Firebase Authentication.
• Rabbitry records: the rabbits, litters, breeding logs, weights, finances, photos and other records you enter, stored in Google Firebase (Realtime Database, Firestore and Cloud Storage).
• Subscription status: your plan, renewal and expiry dates, managed by RevenueCat and linked to your account ID. We don't receive or store your card details.
• Payments: web purchases are processed by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record), which collects the billing details needed for payment and tax. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple.
• Usage and diagnostics: app usage events, crash reports and device model via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, used to fix problems and improve the app.
• Ads: the free mobile apps may show ads through Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers in line with your consent settings.
• Support messages you send us in the app or by email.

Why we use it (legal basis)

• To provide the Service and your subscription (performance of a contract).
• To keep the Service secure, fix bugs and improve features (legitimate interests).
• To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
• For ads personalisation where required (consent).

Who we share it with

We only share data with service providers that process it for us: Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, analytics, crash reporting), RevenueCat (subscription management), Paddle.com (web payments and tax), Google Play and Apple (in-app purchases) and Google AdMob (ads in the mobile apps). We don't sell your personal data. Some providers process data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Photos

Photos of rabbits may be shared on our Instagram page @rabbitryapp without human faces or personal information, as described in our Terms. Email us to opt out.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and records while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time; we'll do so within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example, accounting) by law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction, deletion or a copy (portability) of your personal data, and object to or restrict processing. Email info@ourrabbitry.com. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or your local supervisory authority.

Children

The Service isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Other apps by the same developer

This page also serves as the privacy policy for the other apps published under the developer names Muhammad Hassan (Apple App Store), Madani-inc and BasriStudios (Google Play). Those apps collect anonymous app usage data, crash reports and the device model through third-party libraries: Firebase Analytics (terms), Crashlytics (terms) and, in ad-supported apps, Google AdMob (policy). This data is aggregated, used to improve the user experience and ads, and not sold. Questions: info@ourrabbitry.com.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new date.
